Welcome to Keyi and Wenxin – our new MSc Drug Chemistry students!

This month has seen the arrival of two new MSc Drug Chemistry students, Keyi and Wenxin (from Wuhan and Sichuan respectively), who will be working on multimodality organophosphorus imaging agents that target inflammasomes. Good luck ladies – and welcome to our team!

New collaboration with the Redshaw group on rhenium and technetium radiopharmaceuticals!

We have been working with our collaborators in the Redshaw and Archibald groups to synthesise rhenium complexes with the water-soluble PTA ligand. These compounds are of relevance to nuclear medicine and you can read about their preparation and cell studies at the link below:
